Biography:

TRELLEBORG is fortress in Denmark which was built near 1000 year by Danish king Sweyn I Forkbeard

during war against Anglo-Saxons. Also word "Trelleborg" means pattern of war fortresses in ancient

Scandinavia.The band characterizes it’s genre as epic-viking-metal with humppa elements.  The band

played live gigs with such bands as MOONSORROW (Finland), HELHEIM (Norway),
 KORPIKLAANI (Finland), NORTHER (Finland), KIVIMETSAN DRUIDI (Finland).Njord is the god of the seas

and the lord of winds in Scandinavian mythology. Most lyrics of  the debut album "Lands Of  Njord"

are devoted to endless seas.  Mastering was made by Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Children Of Bodom,

Finntroll, Amorphis etc) at famous Finnvox Studios (Helsinki, Finland). Design was madeby famous

artist from St. Petersburg Pablo the Elephant, who worked with such bands as Severnye Vrata, Grenouer,

Arda etc..

It is like the world had come to its end and at the same time, its beginning, it is as if the Earth is bounding again with the skies, Earth and Universe, places, primordial state of beings revealing ages of Earth long time ago… When people had „eyes” to see what was right in front of them… places that connect with the spirit… keys to unlock or maybe to deepen the world’s mysteries. Reality is loaded with mysteries, half hidden and half revealed… something always escapes to one’s rational „eye”, the object gathered the knowledge bringing its own subjectivity, if only we had the right eye to see it… Time and space melt to create a Universe where the land had other meanings empowering man with knowledge to pass from matter to spirit and beyond, pursuing some genuine places.
It is a passage of the local soul from the plane fields and cullied hills to the highest mountains where the spirit dwells and let traces on Earth, if only we can find the right key to open the ages. . . the earth and the skies, mountains and hills, man–Om and tree, deep waters, dew and black foggy mists, wild beasts and secret forests hide symbols and mystical places where immortality is “alive” and the spirit awakes the bondage of mankind with all surroundings long time forgotten.
Vîrstele pamîntului (Ages of Earth/Land) reveals a natural symbolism of numbers, based upon principle of 9. Number 9 has a high vibrational power. It brings us to recognize our inner abilities to make a positive influence to the world. First track Pămînt as a symbol of one, deals with strong will, positivity, pure energy. One reflects new beginnings and purity, both physical and mental actions. Dacia Hiperboreană is a symbol of duality that gets us out of indecision and calls us to unite with our ideals, our dreams and urge us to do what is best for our souls. Umbra expresses the joy of creativity; it deals with magic, intuition and fecundity. Three also symbolize time as past, present and future as a directional path of your destiny. Ochiul Inimii as a symbol of four awakes the essence of all nature and mankind; it represents solidity, tranquility, home, the return to the roots or to the basics. Chei de Rouă is a spiritual journey to places veiled by our conscience and yet shown by the land itself. It is a symbol of five and it deals with travel, adventure and motion. It has wild primordial vibrations, instable and unpredictable. Arborele Lumii emphasizes harmony, equilibrium, sincerity, truth. It’s a symbol of six representing enlightenment, spiritual and mental balance. Ţara de dincolo de Negură represent number seven, deals with mysteries of the nature, with esoteric meanings. It’s a profound use of conscious thought and awareness. Jar reveals as a symbol of eight the success and persistence of a personal experience, the fulfillment of cycles in their manifestations. Întoarcerea Amurgului ends this meaningful symbolism by a symbol of nine, as a return to the beginnings and at the same time to ending.
The work on the album was done on a seclusion Negură Bunget took into the wilderness of the mountains, concentrating solely on the work for the album.
The album is released by code666 Records in a special limited edition - handmade woodbox, roped and filled with the very earth of the place it comes from.

NORWEGIAN BLACK METALLERS TROLL INVITE FANS TO CHOOSE TRACK FOR NEXT VIDEO

Norwegian Black Metallers TROLL, whose fourth full-length album “Neo-Satanic Supremacy” was released on Napalm Records at the start of this year, have decided to let their fans choose a track from the album to be used for the band’s next video. The video will be made by TENNERS GNISSEL, the company that made the “Neo-Satanic” video teaser for the new album, which shows TROLL performing live at the 2009 Inferno Festival.

“Neo-Satanic Supremacy” heralds a return to the more traditional atmospheric Norwegian Black Metal of the band’s earlier “Drep De Kristne”, which is regarded as one of the classic Black Metal releases. The exact subject matter of the video won’t be decided until the track has been chosen, and nine out of the ten tracks on “Neo-Satanic Supremacy” are in the running, with the title track itself being excluded as it is already on a previous video. Fans will have until the end of May to be able to vote for their favourite track either by sending a message through the band’s MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/troll, or by sending their choice of track via email to killthechristians@gmail.com. Formed in 1992 by NAGASH (THE KOVENTANT, ex-DIMMU BORGIR), TROLL released three full length albums and an EP between 1995 and 2001, and then remained largely dormant until 2007 when bassist VOLD (BLODSPOR) persuaded NAGASH and drummer YGG (WHIP) to reform the band. TLALOC (MAKT, FATAL DEMEANOUR) and EXILIS were added to the line up in 2008 on guitars and keyboards respectively. 2009 saw TROLL begin work on the new album and sign with Nuclear Blast Records; whilst early 2010 saw the band sign with UK based manager Patricia Thomas. Plans for a tour later in the year are being considered.

Commenting on the decision to involve the fans, front man NAGASH said: “TROLL has been around a long time, and we were very encouraged to find that most of the fans had remained loyal during our hiatus. Their response to “Neo-Satanic Supremacy” was overwhelmingly positive, as it was to the video we released of the title track. When we were discussing the possibility of making a video for another track from the album it, occurred to us to involve those people who have supported us for so long, as well all the new fans that are discovering the band for the first time. It’s going to be a fascinating experience finding out which track from the album is the most popular. We all have our own theories, and now we can put them to the test”.

Biography:

NIHIL OBSTAT starts by the end of 1999 in Palmira - Valle del Cauca (Colombia), consisted initially of Luis Fernando Castillo on drums, Andrés Felipe Bonilla on vocals, Andrés Camacho on bass, Germán “Mancho” Ramirez and David Santos on guitars. By the end of 2000 relays are made on bass by Dario Seba and Germán Orejuela on drums, time in which the band journeys through the different stages in Valle del Cauca and the country. By 2001 the demo-tape DESTIERRO AL OPRESOR is released by the label HATE PRODUCTION which is property of the band.
By the dawn of 2003 the drummer Leofaber Gutierrez enters the band with whom the musical direction of the band is consolidated and in 2004 Fabián Tejada takes place as bass player establishing the line up consolidating the job of the band. In 2004 the band enters the brutal US label GOREGIASTIC RECORDS which gets interested in it’s musical potential signing the production agreement for the first CD entitled INHERITED PRIMITIVE BEHAVIORS released for world distribution. Since the release of the album a great number of reviews, critics and aknowledgement to it is received, along with interviews made by different media from many countries in various continents where the sound of NIHIL OBSTAT has reached.
Leofaber Gutierrez leaves the band in 2007 and enters to be part of the team Juan Camilo Delgado, in the beggining of 2008 Fabian Tejada leaves us and is replaced on bass by German "Mancho" Ramirez forming the band today as a quartet, and with this new line-up is record the second album entitled DISINTEGRATION released by the hand of the brutal Label GORMAGGEDON PRODUCTIONS of the Russian promoters STYGIAN CRYPT PRODUCTIONS.
During these 10 years of work we have had the opportunity to share the stage with international bands like SUFFOCATION, KRISIUN, ANIMALS KILLING PEOPLE, and likewise with great national bands as MASACRE, NEUROSIS INC, KILCROPS, PURULENT among many others, all this in the context of a large number of shows in several cities and a presentation in Ecuador where the sound of the band has left its mark.

Head of the Band Eldur (also among others Curse, Pontentiam) has already after the foundation of the band FORTÍÐ a priori planned to set to music one of the most important Ásatrú literatures, the Völuspá, as a Trilogy. The now in Norway living, icelandic artist has formed with this third part the crowning closure of the Völuspá Saga. FORTÍÐ represent with “Fall of the Ages” seven epic Pagan-Metal-hymns. Own lyrics as well as lyrics from the Völuspá Saga were combined. The moods vary between ice-cold melody parts out of Black-Metal until hymnal Pagan-Metal Parts.
