"I think the biggest point for our music is its versatility. We have much influences and so much music stiles we are able to play. This makes especially the songwriting really interesting because we normaly don't know what kind of song its going to be." (Artem)

1. Since your inception in 2008, you`ve just released one demo with 3 songs. Could you please tell us the reason fot this? It has been difficult to get established on your underground scene?

Well at first we have to say that the band was founded in 2008 but started to really work in October 2010. Before 2010 there were many changes in playstile and many different musicians. In 2010 we had a real idea how Furious Anger could be, so we started songwriting and playing the first real gigs in our local scene. After finishing the songwriting and some testing at liveshows we recorded our demo including our (at this point) best song. We were not able to record a full length album because of our financial status. Our liveshows were awsome and it was really easy to get accepted in our local scene. It seemed like they were waiting for a band like us.

2. Melodic Death Metal with a lot of viking/folk elements on it as I can hear. You have mentioned AMON AMARTH like one of your influences.  How would you define the whole concept of FURIOUS ANGER?

However it's really hard to describe the full concept because Furious Anger lives by the differences. All of us have different music favorites and everyone is included in songwriting, so these differences find their way into our music. All in all I would not say it's just Death/ Melodic/ Viking Metal, it is (and of course will be) much more than this.

3. You have played in a plenty amount of festivals so far, could you tell us how has been this experience to play in front on such massive crowds like for example ROCKHARZ Festival and others?

That are the stages we are looking for. It has been an awesome experience to play in front of such crowds and on open air festivals. We love playing in small clubs, too, but these festival gigs were really awesome for us and we hope there will be much more upcoming in the future.

4. You have also toured outside of Germany with big bands. Tours are normally good occasions for getting drunk and retarded. Any fun stories, band fights, stage fuckups? Which bands that you toured with have been the coolest?

HaHa...You know, what happens on tour, stays on tour :D Being on tour was really great, it was a new life experience we really enjoyed and we are looking forward for more tours to come because we already miss tourlife.

5. Is there anything that makes the band different compared to most new and upcoming bands? Which are the bands you have the biggest respect for?

Actually I think the biggest point for our music is its versatility. We have much influences and so much music stiles we are able to play. This makes especially the songwriting really interesting because we normaly don't know what kind of song its going to be. Of course Furious Anger has its own style but it can't be found in the chains of generalized types of music. Everyone from us is open minded to new music, new instruments or new playstiles so it is even impossible to really say how the next Furious Anger songs will sound like. It will just us and not a "like band XY". As sayed before we all have different Bands we offer most of our respect so I'll count it by bandmembers: Mario (lead guitar) named Wintersun, Florian (Singer) named Opeth, Simon (Baseplayer) named Iron Maiden, Jan (rythm guitar) named Windir and some of us together named Bathory.

6. I am curious to know more things about your coming full lenght album. Tell us some details such as tracklist, cover artwork and the people involved in production?

Our Album will include around 10 Songs with some really long Songs. The style will be spread much wider compared to the demo. We are currently in contact with the MetalSound Studio (http://www.metalsound.de/) by Thorsten Sauerbrey. We recorded our demo there and really liked to work with Thorsten. We already have plans for the Album cover but we wont say it yet ;) stay tuned and u will see :)

7. Can you explain the method of songwriting employed by FURIOUS ANGER? Is the writing process generally collective or does one member often craft the song on his own?

The songwriting generally is collective. Everyone is a different kind of musician and brings his own strength into the songs. That leads into a great versatility which we really like. That makes our songs and sound so special.

8. Well, I´ve got no more questions for now! What would you say to our readers in conclusion?

At last we of course want to say thanks to all those people out there who like our music and give us the possibility to stay on our way. We really hope you will enjoy our upcoming work.

Stay tuned and be prepared for our Album, New Merchandise and New Lifeshows in 2014!!!
