are you most proud of achieving as a band, and have there
been any defining moments that stand out in your memories?
most defining moment that stands out in our memories is when
we played with ‘Corpsefucking Art’ to the Hellvetia
Metal Day XV in Luzern, Switzerland. They are an Italian
brutal death metal band founded in Rome in 1994. We are also
proud to have published our first EP, Demonstration of
Metal as a genre is one of the most complex genres in music.
In my mind. More generally, why you chose to have a Death
Metal sound? It is part of yourselves?
right, Death Metal is one of the most complex genres in
metal though we haven’t choose to have a Death Metal
sound. In fact, our sound is a combination of various
influences brought from every member of the band. This
collaboration results in our sound.
think that your debut EP ‘Demonstration Of Negative
Way’, is very impressive. How are the general reactions
towards this release? What are your plans for the next debut
you for your kind words. Lots of people enjoyed and
appreciated our EP. We receive a lot of positive feedbacks,
though our EP is far from being perfect. We’re working on
our debut full length album.
did the process of writing new material move? Were you
confronted by anything unusual or unforeseen? If yes, do the
songs reflect it somehow?
choose the theme of our album together. The singers develop
the lyrics, the guitarists compose the melody and the
drummer and the bassist establish the rhythmic. We now have
to match the melodies with the lyrics, something that we
didn’t do with EP. It is important to us that the sound
evokes the theme’s environment.
many other death metal bands, CBV is also not afraid to make
use of softer and calmer moments in the music to build the
tension in the. How did these moments come about?
believe that changes of bpm, breaks, build-up moment and
melodic riffs help the music to be more interesting and
engaging to the listener.
you explain the meaning and significance behind the EP
artwork, and tell us how the conceptualization of this come

creation that can self-ignite at any moment. The

you had to highlight one important message behind your
music, what would it be?
music speaks about what we believe in, though we let freedom
to the listener to interpret it. All the EP’s songs are
inspired by true events.
claim the internet killed the death metal underground. Is
this so, in your view? How is the underground doing? Does it
is a powerful platform that can help a band expand their
products. Without it would be definitely harder to be in
contact with the world and we wouldn’t be interviewed.
so many bands competing for attention what do you do in
order to stand out and be counted? How far would you go in
order to gain attention?
put all our efforts in our music, we just play as best as we
can. Our hope is that our audience will appreciate our
commitment and thus establish a long standing relationship.
does the matter look with concerts in your country at
present? Do you play any concerts outside Switzerland?
in our country Death Metal is not a popular music genre. In
Ticino there are almost no clubs providing this kind of
music, though in other part of Switzerland you can find many
more. We never played outside Switzerland, though next year
we have planned an event in Italy. Look for the upcoming
European Tour on September 2017 (for further informations

about alcohol, does that play a factor at your shows or do
you try to keep things as professional and tight as
the stage we keep an attitude as professional as possible,
our only concern is to be hundred percent focus on what
we’re playing. As far as the audience is concerned,
they’re free to do as they please.
you had to represent Death metal with a picture, a painting,
sculpture or maybe a "famous" piece of art, what
would you choose?
difficult for us to choose a specific artwork that describes
Death Metal. Art is too personal of a subject, therefore we
prefer to remain neutral.
technological development of the last 30 years do you fear
in technology help us to develop our sound. Without all the
equipment we wouldn’t be capable to achieve our best. In
this logic we do not fear technology, in fact we are
motivated by it.
we’ve come to an end. Do you have any final thoughts?
Thank you for your time…
is our first interview, we hope that we have been as clear
as possible. We thank you for your interest in us, we’re
looking foreword to read it published.
