You have been existing as a musical group since 2009 with
different names. How did you started the new era as BEERGASM
and how so you defined your musical direction?
Beergasm where actually born last year in 2013, because we
were sick of the old name "Scythe". Talking about
our musical direction, the new name didn't change totally
our sound, but we somehow evolved with it.
Talking about your musical approach, you have a wide range
of different influences on your songs, is there any way to
explain us your influences (not just musical but
we are different, we come from different musical experiences
and what we hear to influences what we write e play... We
are different, that's all. We try to fuse our diversity,
creating our own sound. The Beergasm's sound.
Latest release from your camp is - EP „Cancer
Society“.Could you tell me something about the process of
making these four songs? How long time it took to record?
it is a demo (laughs). We didn't take much time in recording
it, because we played them for a long time. So, we made just
some details and we had just to record all the parts of the
songs. It took nine hours.
When you’re a band on demo level. What ways has been the
best for you in order to promote the band? What do you do to
reach as many interested as possible?
order to promote us we try to sell our demos, during and
after our live performances. And thanks to social

consume music has changed. Is playing live still a good way

kind of role do the lyrics play in the concept of BEERGASM?
I have noticed you use topics as Society, Politics, War,
Religion and Mythology. How important are they?
lyrics come from different influences we had too, all of our
interests. All the topics come from what we feel, hear or
from our passions, even from our ideas.
you have any explanation as to why there are so many bands
in Italy? Is life so boring in Italy that you have to start
a band to have something to do?
not boring. It's just that Italy feels music, it is one of
all our passions and young kids approach to it in different
think BEERGASM has some experiences in performing live… so
could you please share with us some memorable shows the band
played in? How important is a stage appearance for a band
remember a show, where we played at a Forlì's castle. We
had a lot of fun and we had satisfied the people there.
Stage appearance is very important to us, we also try new
ways to impress all the people... but first, we care about
what we have to play?
It might be too early, seeing as you’re working on it
right now, but what can we expect from the forthcoming
didn't really think about that... We think that we'll
impress people as much as we can and offer songs which can
make them mosh like there's no fucking tomorrow.
No more questions my friend. Just thanks for your time and
good luck for your future plans. Closing is yours…
to you for letting us a chance to represent our country and
to be noticed by you. Remember this: we love beer and
partying hard with people being excited by our power of
metal!!! Rest In Beer from Italy! Ciao!!!
