Primordial
Conviction is an extreme underground Blackened
Death Metal band, hailing from Anchorage,
Alaska. We started back in 2009. Themes we use
for our music are solitude, dark Anti-Theism,
cynicism, fear of death, infernality and
Satan...
In
the Summer of 2010 we released our first demo,
"Satan With Us", recorded at RuneFire
Records. It consisted of me (Mike) on Voxs and
Guitar, and Tyler on drums.
The
name Primordial Conviction, came from a science
article in Scientific American. The article,
"A Quantum Threat to Special
Relativity", explained primordial
conviction as a belief. A belief that we can
describe everything in the world through the
form of narrative, or story. However, scientists
have discovered that the universe is infinitely
rich with information. So much that humans
current level of communication and
understanding, has a limit to our comprehension
of the universe. Anyone can go all day with this
discussion, but I thought it would be a bad ass
name for a band.
