The band is formed. Out of a little Heavy
Metal-project Path of Destiny is born.
The first gig as a supportband in front of a
600-people crowd takes place.
Also the first fans are found an some gigs on
little metalevents in Thuringia follow.
The first sign of life is recorded in form of a
4-track demo CD at FF-studios. Only very few
copies are shared among the closest friends and
fans of the band. 3 of these songs will make
their way to the first album released 2 years
The old rehearsal room is changed into a new one
in Lothra (the place where the band still
rehearses today). The band is forced to take a
break of 3 months due to the several
modification and refurbishment operations that
need to be taken in the new rooms.
The first really big gig is played at the Legacy
Fest (called Metal Fest today) in Dessau (near
to Leipzig, Germany). Right beforehand the band
had done very well in a online voting.
End of 2009
The recordings for the first LP start at the
FF-Studios in Piesau, Thuringia.
The long-time rhythmguitarist Frank surprisingly
leaves the band so that Path of Destiny is
forced to play almost all concerts in 2010 in an

forced to leave the band because of health

Sebastian a more than worthy replacement at the

The farthest distances we have ever met for a
gig so far!
Path of Destiny plays the first new song named
“Invocation” of the upcoming release live
during a gig at the local “Klubhaus” in
Saalfeld. So you can be already excited about
what the future holds.
End of July 2013
With gigs at the Rock unter den Eichen in
Bertingen and Rock im Betonwerk in
Mittelbach/Chemnitz the band manages to play 2
of the most prestige concerts in its history.
Path of Destiny are recording their first ever
official video clip! The video is done for the
re-recorded version of “Stillborn
Future”(originally released on “Parasite
God” in 2012) The release of the clip will
approximately take place in December 2013 /
beginning of 2014.

Path of Destiny starts working on the follow-up
album for Parasite God and sets up a
pre-production of the new songs at their own
rehearsal room. It’s planned to release the
album in 2015. It will contain 10 songs and will
be the second full-length release of the band.
The recordings for our next album start at FF
Music Studio in Piesa/Germany, starting with
drums and guitars. We expect them to be finished
The instrumental recordings around bass and
guitars come to an end. Now it’s up to the
singer Sebastian to take on to the vocal part.
Middle of July 2015
The vocal recordings at Unholy Studios in Jena
are finalized and the mix/mastering of the new
songs can finally begin. This is done by
Jaroslav Celujko at Jarosound-Studios
End of September 2015
The band finally holds the master-CD in hands
and starts looking for a suitable label.
End of December 2015
Several labels are interested in releasing the
upcoming album. The decision is finally taken
after Christmas and there is nothing in the way
for inking the deal with Apostasy Records, our
future distribution partner.
